WE9COM repeater in Meteor (Sawyer County) is located on one of the highest locations in Northwest Wisconsin at 190 feet on WeComm's own tower. This was WeComm's first greenfield site so from lease to the tip of the antenna, WeComm built everything.

Final construction took place on Saturday, September 29, 2012. The weather was brilliant and the view from Meteor spectacular!

Wave Communications of Sun Prairie constructed the 180 foot guyed tower, equipment shelter, ground system, fence and gravel to form the basis of a great site

WeComm uses a Sinclair antenna.

WeComm's first Motorola MTR-3000 forms the foundation for great signal reception and audio. Look for MotoTRBO to be a future upgrade.

Because of the top of the tower location, WE9COM in Meteor's coverage is excellent and provides essential coverage throughout most of Northwest Wisconsin.
